We are familiar with international “apostilled” document requirements and routinely retrieve certified copies of criminal and civil records from all over the United States. We are familiar with the criminal retention laws in most states and will advise the client of this situation. If the sought after document has been legally destroyed we will recover a certified letter to that effect from the appropriate agency.
