SkipTracing

According to Wikipedia, “skiptracing is the process of locating a person’s whereabouts for any number of purposes. A skiptracer is someone who performs this task. The term “skip” refers to the person being searched for, and is derived from the idiomatic expression “to skip town”, meaning to depart (perhaps in a hurry), leaving minimal clues behind to “trace” the “skip” to a new location.

A skiptrace investigation is significantly different then a missing person’s investigation in that the circumstances surrounding the disappearance are often well planned. It is deliberate action taken in an effort to disappear in order to evade detection. The reasons for an individual to attempt to deliberately hide are numerous and range from a dangerous criminal on the run to a debt collection situation.

We at William Wallace & Associates possess tremendous resources which greatly enhance and complement our investigative abilities. Our law enforcement backgrounds combined with the support system in place present a highly effective platform for the skiptracing investigation.
